Rising Stars: Alex Hely-Hutchinson

29 06 2016

From pop-up to permanent, Alex Hely-Hutchinson’s porridge café 26 Grains has gone from strength to strength.

Back in December 2014, the young British entrepreneur started with a simple mission: to serve her wholesome grain-based dishes across the evolving pop-up scene. Her recipes are inspired by Scandinavian cuisine and based on seasonal produce and flavours – blending sweet and savoury. Hely-Hutchinson has since seen her products stocked on the shelves of Ben’s House and Psycle London, and has her own space in Covent Garden’s Neal’s Yard. Now the 25 year old, who's been hailed as an inspiration by food blogger and writer Ella Woodward (aka Deliciously Ella), has caught the attention of publishers and is set to release her debut cookbook, 26 Grains, September 8.
